Kyle joined Ritsema Law in 1996, and is a Partner since 2002. She has worked in the field of workers’ compensation defense since 1993. She delivers proactive, timely and aggressive defense of workers’ compensation claims. Her knowledge of the law and depth of experience in this area enables her to assist clients by understanding the strategic importance in workers’ compensation and related issues to a company’s overall vision, plan and bottom line. Kyle was named Respondents’ Lawyer of the Year by The Professionals in Workers’ Compensation in 2014. She regularly provides client training at the Annual Seminar, and via Webinar. Throughout her career, Kyle regularly attends rule making committees, hearings and has a thorough knowledge on the development of the rules to assist clients in navigating their requirements.

Kyle graduated from the University of Denver College of Law in 1991. Prior to that she graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in Journalism. She practiced at the Colorado Compensation Insurance Authority (Pinnacol Assurance) prior to joining Ritsema Law. While at CCIA, she specialized in workers’ compensation defense, focusing particularly on the area of medical utilization review. Previously with the law firm of Miles & Epstein, P.C., Kyle practiced in several areas, including defense of workers’ compensation claims, Equal Opportunity Commission and unemployment claims, and Title VII employment discrimination suits. Her legal experience also includes clerking at the Denver law firm of Gerash, Robinson & Miranda, P.C., where she practiced civil and criminal law.
