Ashley B. Munoz

Ashley joined Ritsema Law in 2024. She practices workers’ compensation defense and insurance defense as an Associate Attorney. Prior to joining Ritsema Law, Ashley practiced criminal law as a Senior Deputy District Attorney in the Special Victims Unit. While at the District Attorney’s Office, she acquired extensive trial experience and did more than 100 jury trials. She prosecuted serious felonies including homicides and focused on crimes related to high risk domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

Ashley previously served on the board of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association. Ashley held a judicial externship with the Honorable Michael Spear in the Colorado 18th Judicial District. Ashley graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where she was an editor on a law review, an editor on a law journal, and a board member of the Latino Law Students’ Association. Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Wyoming.
