Judith Atkinson

Judith joined Ritsema Law in July 2020 and has been practicing Workers’ Compensation on behalf of Defendant Employers, Insurers and Government Agencies for 17 years in multiple jurisdictions. Prior to that Judith had an extensive background in civil litigation. Over the course of her Massachusetts practice she successfully litigated not only numerous hearings but several notable appeals and issues of first impression.

Throughout her tenure as an Assistant General Counsel II for the Massachusetts Department of Industrial Accidents, Workers’ Compensation Trust Fund, Judith was also the Counsel to the Health Care Services Board, which serves in an advisory role to the Department where she utilized her background in nursing.
