Robert Welsh

Robert Joined Ritsema Law as an associate in 2025. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering from California State University and spent three years working in the pharmaceutical industry before deciding to change the trajectory of his career and pursue law. Robert graduated and received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School Boston in 2023.

Prior to Ritsema, Robert worked at a non-profit, public interest legal foundation that focused on a myriad of aspects related to constitutional and administrative law. At Ritsema, Robert is part of the workers’ compensation defense team and practices in Utah and Colorado. In his free time, he enjoys building watches and classic cars, and is an avid outdoorsman.
